Lymphedema is a common problem that can occur at any time after breast cancer surgery has involved the removal of underarm lymph nodes. Whether you have been diagnosed with breast cancer or not, it is important to check your breasts on a regular basis for any changes. This "Be Breast Aware" link will take you to Breast Cancer Care's information page on how to look for changes in your breasts that should be reported to your G.P. or cancer hospital.
